Further support includes information on how Special Educational Needs are identified and assessed by schools and the local authority, help with paperwork and preparing for meetings and communicating with schools to resolve disagreements at an early stage. Families can also be referred into the casework service. Calls to 0808 80 numbers are free from landlines and mobiles in the UK and do not appear on itemised bills.
