ICP Support
For anyone affected by intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy (ICP)
If you have been diagnosed with ICP, are being investigated for it, or think you may have the condition we are here to support you. We are not counsellors, nor can we make a diagnosis or give you advice about what to do, but we have had ICP and know what it’s like to experience that awful itching in pregnancy. We can provide a listening ear, empathise with your experience and share what helped us get through an ICP pregnancy.
We encourage contact from anyone who is affected by ICP, as we know this condition can impact loved ones and family members too, not just those who have the condition.
You can access one to one support by emailing us: supportline@icpsupport.org
We also offer support via various Facebook groups covering pregnancy, postnatal and longer-term health, as well as support for those who have been affected by a stillbirth due to ICP. Our groups are private (closed) and are moderated by those who have had ICP in their own pregnancies. We can provide you with the most up to date ICP research and guidelines on managing the condition, as well as sharing our own experiences of coping with the condition.
