Helplines Awareness Day 2025
Thank you for all your support

Thank you to everyone who supported our Helplines Awareness Day campaign 2025 and made the event such a success.
This year, we had a week-long campaign, raising awareness of the important work of helplines and encouraging anyone who wanted to talk to seek support through our Find a Helpline online directory.
We had a combination of online and in-person events, social media conversations, workshops, digital advertising, and more. It was wonderful to see so many people and organisations coming together to celebrate helplines.
The week saw us launch our first video campaign, hosting a helpline sector networking event, and delivering workshops to young people.
Here are some of the highlights

We delivered a workshop about helplines and careers in helplines to young people at the Thrive Careers Hub in Liverpool. We also spent two days at Leeds Trinity University, talking to staff and students about the helpline support available to them.
We launched our first Helplines Awareness Day video. If you missed it, you can watch it on YouTube here.
We had a week-long digital advertising campaign at offices in Manchester.
On the day itself, we took part in a fitness challenge, broadcasting live on social media. If you missed it, you can watch it here.

Watch us on the Success in the City podcast

Our Director of Operations, Gemma Khairi, was interviewed live on the Success in the City show. She talked about the Helplines Awareness Day campaign, her passion for the helpline sector, and the training and support Helplines Partnership provides to helpline organisations. She also talks about vicarious trauma and worker wellbeing.

Thank you to author and mental health advocate Rachel Ann Cullen for her emotional post in support of the event.

Thank you to TV presenter Bianca Westwood for creating an inspiring video for Helplines Awareness Day; and finally, thank you to Eunice Huthart, stunt woman and former Gladiator, for supporting our video.
