National helpline offering free, independent and impartial information and support on the issues that matter to disabled people and families. Also offer a telephone interpreting service to people whose preferred language is not English. Scope helpline staff members are not qualified to give medical or legal advice. The Team are not trained benefits specialists and cannot offer case work or advocacy but will try to signpost to specialist national or local services for more specialised support or advice. Calls to 0808 80 numbers are free to call from landlines and mobile phones within the UK and do not appear on itemised bills.
