Pregnancy Sickness Support
Support for suffers of pregnancy sickness and Hyperemesis Gravidarum
Offers support to sufferers of nausea and vomiting in pregnancy and its severe form, Hyperemesis Gravidarum. The Charity can provide information on treatments and coping strategies, employment issues, oral hygiene, mental health issues, eating advice, recovery and more. Further support includes one-to-one volunteer support network for women with hyperemesis and online forum where sufferers can access support from a number of trained volunteers at almost any time of the day or night. Pregnancy sickness and hyperemesis gravidarum can be challenging for the partners and loved ones of sufferers. PSS has developed leaflets and information for carers and partners and carers can register with the forum to access specific areas. Further information, support and training for Health Care Professionals is also available from the charity. Aim to return all messages within 24 hours during the week where possible. Messages left over the weekend may not be responded to until Monday morning.
