Helpline that supports women with endometriosis and their family and friends to talk with someone who has experienced the same condition. Helpline volunteers do not give medical advice on drug or treatment options but can suggest ways to explore these further or discuss strategies to help individuals through a particular situation. For medical advice it is best to contact your GP or endometriosis specialist. Charity also produce factsheets and information packs covering a variety of different topics and run local support groups, set up by trained volunteers. Also seek to raise awareness of this relatively unknown condition that affects at least two million women in the UK.
