Helplines Standard Workshops

Learn about the Helplines Standard, a quality standard that accredits best practice in helpline work at a free* afternoon workshop.

Workshop places are limited to a maximum of two delegates per organisation.

Benefits of achieving the Helplines Standard

Going for the accreditation was an opportunity for the team to all work together, it was a good team effort. It means that everyone had a shared understanding of where we are as an organisation.
- MS Society

It’s important to reflect a high standard of quality within the line of work conducted by our Helpline, especially in being a children’s services organisation. As a front line facility, securing the re-accreditation means a lot to NYAS in being able to deliver a high-quality provision to our service users across England and Wales.
- NYAS

For us, the single biggest benefit of our Helplines Standard accreditation was being able to access funding. It meant that we were able to fit the funders eligibility criteria. It signals the professionalism of our service and gives our callers confidence.
- Maternity Action

As a smaller organisation, achieving the Helplines Standard makes us more attractive to funders. It shows that we are following best practice and have really strengthened how we work and the service that we deliver.
