CPD Accredited Skills Based Courses for Helplines
We are pleased to announce that three of our skills based training courses have been independently evaluated for Continuing Professional Development (CPD) purposes by The CPD Certification Service.
This means our courses comply with universally accepted principles of CPD and have been structured to meet the criteria of personal development plans.
The three CPD accredited courses are:
- Level 1 – Essential Helpline Skills
- Level 2 – Developing Helpline Skills
- Level 3 – Advanced Helpline Skills
CPD Certified Helpline Training
CPD certified training means the learning activity has reached the required CPD standards and benchmarks. The learning value has been scrutinised to ensure integrity and quality. The CPD Certification Service provide recognised independent CPD assessment compatible with global CPD standards.
Gemma Khairi, Operations Director at Helplines Partnership said: “Our training has been developed by qualified trainers with direct helpline experience around helplines context and practice. Our new skills based courses are designed for helpline workers and volunteers to support them to build their skills and confidence. CPD certification means that the content and structure of the courses have been independently assessed and approved for multi-disciplinary and industry-wide continuing personal and professional development purposes.”
The value of CPD for Helplines
Continuing Professional Development is essential in helping individuals, teams and organisations keep skills and knowledge up to date. Whether you are a helpline worker, helpline manager, helpline volunteer or call handler, our training allows you to ‘up skill’ or ‘re skill’ and ensures that academic and practical qualifications do not become out-dated or obsolete.
