Description of service
Helplines providing information and emotional support for anyone aged 18+ resident in Portsmouth and South East Hants who has had an unwanted sexual experience. Support extends to friends, partners, family and professionals. The support line team can also offer support in relation to the difficult feelings commonly associated with sexual abuse, whether recent or historical. Further services include counselling, signposting and onward referrals for adult survivors of rape and/or child sexual abuse (whenever it occurred). Face to face counselling for women and men aged 18+ who live in Portsmouth City. Limited service for those living in SE Hampshire. Face to face counselling for young people aged 11+ who live in Portsmouth City and SE Hampshire. Outreach in Portsmouth community focused upon young people.
