The National Autistic Society - Parent to Parent Service

Description of service

Confidential telephone service providing emotional support to parents and carers of children or adults with autism. The service is provided by trained parent volunteers who are all parents themselves of a child or adult with autism. Volunteers are based across the UK. The service provides parents with the opportunity to talk through problems and feelings, suggest helpful strategies, or provide a non-judgemental listening ear. Calls to 0808 80 numbers are free from landlines and mobiles in the UK and do not appear on itemised bills.

Opening Times

You can call at any time, day or night, and leave a message on the 24-hour answer phone. Please be aware that you will not speak to someone immediately as it is not a manned line. If you leave a message, a volunteer will call you back as soon as possible at a time that suits you, including evenings and weekends
