Support to Jewish women, family and friends, experiencing domestic violence
The Helpline provides information, signposting and emotional support to Jewish women who are experiencing domestic abuse, or who have done in the past. Also provides information and support for family and friends of a woman who they believe is experiencing domestic abuse. Clients signposted via the Helpline may be referred to the Community Support Team who provide emotional and practical support to women in the community. They may also access face to face and telephone counselling from highly-trained counsellors. Jewish Women's Aid employs a Children's Worker to support children of women affected by domestic abuse. Also run education sessions in schools to children and young people. Outreach work to Jewish young people at University.
