Irish Cancer Society - Support Line
Support for anyone affected by cancer in Republic of Ireland
The Irish Cancer Society Support Line is a supportive information service staffed by experienced cancer nurses where anyone concerned about cancer can get trusted information and advice about any type of cancer. Nurses are here to support cancer patients, their worried family members, or anyone seeking information about the signs and symptoms of cancer, or how to reduce their risk of the disease. When not answering calls, the nurses are responding to enquiries online. If the phone lines are busy, callers can leave a message and a Cancer Nurse will call back as soon as possible. Further support includes video calls for those who want a face-to-face chat with an experienced cancer nurse. Our cancer nurses are available for video calls Monday to Friday. Please pre-book online and one of the nursing team will then be in contact by email with full instructions.
