Provides confidential advice for parents and family members who are involved with, or need, children’s social care services. Most commonly advises parents where social workers are worried about a child’s safety, families with a child in care and grandparents who are raising grandchildren who cannot live at home. Can offer advocacy to parents attending child protection conferences when the parent lives in London, and the Local Authority agrees to fund the advocacy service.
